Med Instead of Meds: A Healthy Cooking DemonstrationKnife Skills and Intro to Mediterranean Diet with Sampson County Public Libraries

Join us for Med instead of Meds, a program led by Sydney Knowles from the N.C. Cooperative Extension. You’ll learn how to prepare a refreshing Mango, Black Bean, and Quinoa Salad, a perfect example of the healthy and delicious Mediterranean diet. Ma. Knowles will also provide a knife skills demonstration, empowering you to cook with confidence. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your culinary skills and embrace a healthier lifestyle.

Enhance  your cooking confidence by learning about knife skills. Sydney will be preparing a quick Mediterranean Diet recipe while she shows you a variety of knife and cooking skills. The dates are as follows. Just stop by!

Nutrition Series: Med Instead of Meds

Our series will help you make informed nutrition decisions, enhance your cooking skills, and encourage you to make healthy habits in your daily life.
