Join NCCE staff and Naturalist Jimmy Randolph for an educational hike on the trails of San Lee Park - a 177+ acre park, located at 572 Pumping Station Road, that offers hiking trails, a mountain bike trail, a Nature Center, playground, picnic facilities, campgrounds and two stocked lakes for fishing. Participants will be guided along the public access trails. We will identify and discuss native plant species along the walk. The hike will traverse rocky and moderately steep terrain.
Advance registration by Wednesday, March 11th, is required. Call NC Cooperative Extension - Lee County 919-775-5624 to register and reserve your space. Class minimum is 10 attendees. The class maximum is 25 attendees. Group will meet at the Education Center at San Lee Park and begin the hike after a brief overview.
