This month’s recipes are focused on fun foods for youth. Including children in the kitchen can help teach them valuable cooking skills and also encourages them to find new foods. Try out this simple alphabet pizza recipe, and encourage your children to pick a vegetable they want to add to their pizza! This allows them to make decisions while also helping them choose healthy foods.

Ingredients
- Pre-made pizza crust
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- ½ tsp oregano
- pinch of salt
- 1 ½ cups pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 cup mini pepperonis
- Veggie of choice
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Brush olive oil all over pizza crust and sprinkle with kosher salt and oregano.
- Using letter cookie cutters, cut out desired letters in pizza crust. Spread a spoonful of sauce onto each piece and top with cheese, mini pepperoni, and veggie of choice. Bake until cheese has melted and dough is golden.
