Collapse ▲If your private pesticide applicator license expires in 2024 and you have not already received the necessary training, then you need to come to the following training to get recertified. This is the last class for 2024. To provide the 4 hours that private pesticide applicators will need, the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Pasquotank County Center is conducting a class on Thursday, August 1st at the Pasquotank Extension Center located at 1209 McPherson Street. If you plan to attend this training, please register via EventBrite.
Private pesticide applicators (farmers) that have taken the required “V” and “X” training for 2024 will get a form (likely in November) from the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Pesticide Section to be completed and mailed back with a $10 check via the postal service to the address indicated on the form. Only after you have done this does the Pesticide Section issue you a new pesticide card and consider you up to date.
