Sampson County Cooperative Extension is holding an Extension Master Gardener Volunteer (EMGV) initial training session January 26 – April of 2017. Classes will be conducted on Thursdays from 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. each week at the Sampson County Extension Center located at 55 Agriculture Place, Clinton NC 28328. Costs are $125.00 which covers manuals, registration fees, and travel to off-site trainings.

If you enjoy gardening, would like to become a more successful gardener and enjoy helping others, this is the volunteer program for you!

Applications are due by Dec. 2, 2016 and can be delivered in person, or mailed to the Sampson Extension Center, or sent by email as an attachment to brad_hardison@ncsu.edu. Seating is limited and slots are filling fast. Applicants may be subject to an informal interview and may be placed on a waiting list due to the number of applicants.
