Due to the unseasonably cool temperatures and frequent rain showers, annual and perennial weeds are beginning to make their appearance. Some of the most common winter weeds are common chickweed (Stellaria media), mouseear chickweed (Cerastium vulgatum), henbit (Lamium amplexicaule), and annual bluegrass (Poa annua).
